Once again we will venture out and spread a little turkey cheer for the Sacramento Food Bank annual turkey drive...It is co-sponsored by KCRA...Last year and the year before we got on television which was fun for those being interviewed...
Everyone participating needs to provide at least one any size (the bigger the better) frozen turkey...Last year we provided 28 turkeys...
This year things will change up a little...There will be no food stop this year due to COVID restrictions...If you wish to participate, please RSVP by clicking the link below. Make sure you are at the start location no later than 11:45 for the drivers meeting and the 12:00 start time.
Last year Safeway and Albertsons had really good deals on frozen birds...Sometimes free with a minimum purchase...This year our own Bel Air has turkeys for 57 cents a pound...limit one...Go in 5 times...Just kidding...sort of...
