We will be driving on a joint effort from the Petersons and the Parkers, to the mid penninsula, Burlingame, Ca...The 2 day venture to the Bay Area, namely Burlingame, Woodside, La Honda, among other as yet unidentified locations will be adventuresome and fun...Friday June 23, we will drive to Burlingame with stops for dehydration in Lathrop at the Flyin J Travel Center and the San Francisco Premium Outlets in Pleasonton...Both are less than an hours straight drive...The outlets are great shopping and casual lunch joints...And then on to Burlingame...Sally and I recommend the Hilton hotels on Airport Blvd at the Anza Lagoon...Hilton Garden Inn, Double Tree, Embassy Suites and the Airport Hilton are all close to where we want to be the next morning...See below for links...We are staying at the Garden Inn...But you obviously may choose whichever you like...we will be having a fun dinner at Benihana, about a mile from the hotels on San Francisco Bay...

The next morning, leaving the hotel of your choice around 7:45 (argh) we plan on arriving at the start of our days adventure, The Tour De Elegance sponsored by the Hillsborough Concours De Elegance, around 8:00. Eighty vehicles of interest, many from the immediate city of Hillsborough will gather for a roughly 2 hour mapped and guided rally through the Northern California countryside. After which at our landing location is a catered lunch...Mostly Bay Area locations. We will be having dinner on your own or together, to be decided...

We will be going to Alices for breakfast/brunch the morning of the 25th...Everyone is on their own to get home or you can attend the Hilsborough Concours De Elegance at Crystal Springs Golf Course...your choice...

The Hillsborough Concours Foundation was established in 2010 to significantly extend the philanthropic reach and impact of the Concours organization. In addition to the Hillsborough Schools Foundation, all net proceeds from the Concours and its associated activities will benefit AbilityPath - AbilityPath has been a cornerstone of our community for more than 99 years, providing a lifespan of support services to individuals with special needs and developmental disabilities in the greater Bay Area and The Guardsmen, a San Francisco-based volunteer organization dedicated to mobilizing their significant talents and resources to enhance and improve the lives of at-risk youth.

Whether a veteran Concours entrant or a first time attendee, all will marvel at the timeless automotive designs whose aesthetics, innovative engineering, character and attention to detail make them as relevant today as they were when first introduced decades ago.

All proceeds go to Ability Path, a non profit so this is a tax deductable donation...consult your tax preparer...
