Noticing that the Tour check in THIS YEAR (as opposed to last year) is 7:30…On Saturday morning, let's plan on meeting at 1633 Old Bayshore Highway around 7:15…It’s the 21st Century Home Health Services parking lot…It is on the right side of the road for easy merging onto Old Bayshore…Large lot…We will try to be at the start line of the rally around 7:30 to 7:45…We will drive together so we can stage near the front…Providing the rally leader doesnt have to stop to pee three times again we can all drive together without interruptions…
Dinner...Plan to be at Benihana at around 5:00 for an adult beverage and conversation during happy hour...The mai tais are great... Our reservation time has changed to 5:45…They have committed to getting all 10 of us together at one table…They have one table that seats 10-12 but are not guarenteeing…They said they would try..They said they can get 10 at a normal table as well…
After dinner you are on your own…Parking is by valet (mandatory)...The Marriot and the Hilton, where some of us are staying, are within walking distance if you are valetaphobic…Although they did a nice job of isolating the cars last year if you mention you want your car parked in a protected area…
If you need directions from the Saturday meetup, travel south on Old Bayshore, right at the light onto Broadway and over the freeway, stay to the left, left onto California Drive, at the roundabout take the second exit onto Lorton Avenue and you are there...easy peasy...
After lunch at an undisclosed location, at this time, I assume everyone is going home as Jerry McDonald’s Memorial at the club is on Sunday…
