*The schedule is as follows:
*Two options
Drive down on your own
The Parkers are leaving at 11:00 and we can caravan down together...
There will be two stops...One in Lathrop and One in Pleasanton...Directions will be provided...
*There are many hotels in the area...The Marriot on Old Bayshore, The Hampton Inn and Suites is across the street
from the Marriot which are closest to the restaurant...There are others in the area...
*Plan on being at Benihanas at 5:00 or so for a little happy hour adult or otherwise beverages and socializing
Parking is by valet...You can always walk to the restaurant if you dont want to valet...
*We will have reservations at Benihana for 6:00......
*On Saturday morning plan to be ready to go by about 7:30 and we all gather at the Crown Plaza parking (1177 Airport Blvd ) lot by 7:45 in order to get to the rally by 8:00 or so...We like to stay somewhat together during the rally...Being near the front of the rally has its advantages...We will be limiting this event to 8 cars...
*The car show before the rally is an eperience as there are many exotics in the rally and fun to oogle...
A short drivers meeting is around 9:30...
*We will drive through the Coastal Mountains and various little towns until we arrive at our catered lunch hosted by a
car collector at his/her home...Destination not yet determined...But always an amazing car collection...
*After lunch you are free to return home on your own or stay for the actual concours the next day at Crystal Springs Golf Course...There might also be a happy hour gathering that afternoon...It is one of the oldest continuous concours in the U.S and benefits local charities...After the concours on Sunday drive home on your own...
