The North Star Mine was the second largest producing gold mine during the California Gold Rush.  Master architect Julia Morgan designed the 10,000 sq ft estate (she later designed San Simeon for Randolph Hearst)...There will be a private tour...Following the tour we will drive to Grass Valley for lunch at Tofanellis in town...The drive home is on your own...More details to follow when they become available...Directions will be provided...
