Once again we will venture out and spread a little turkey cheer for the Sacramento Food Bank annual turkey drive...It is co-sponsored by KCRA...Last year and the year before we got on television which was fun for those being interviewed...
Everyone participating needs to provide at least one any size (the bigger the better) frozen turkey...Last year we provided 22 turkeys...
This year things will change up a little...Last year there was no Suzie's food stop. This year we are headed off to Husicks Taphouse on the river in Clarksburg...Details to follow...Make sure you are at the start location no later than 11:45 for the drivers meeting and the 12:00 start time.
Last year Safeway and Albertsons had really good deals on frozen birds...Sometimes free with a minimum purchase...
